The Golden Gate Casino, the oldest casino in Las Vegas, is slated for expansion in order to increase profits and cut costs.
The expansion consists of a building that will be divided into two floors. The first floor will house an extra 100 slot machines (in addition to the 361 slot machines that are currently in service at The Golden Gate) while the second floor will be built as extra storage for liquor in order to decrease labor costs.
Interestingly, the plot that the expanded infrastructure will be built on was once home to another casino called La Bayou, which was closed last year on June 27.
